RUN Learning and Teaching Awards

The RUN Learning & Teaching Awards celebrate excellence and achievement at regional universities across Australia. These Awards showcase innovative, impactful initiatives that enhance student learning through equity, innovation, and regional responsiveness.

Charles Sturt University has enjoyed outstanding success in these awards with our educators taking out first place nationally in 2023 and second place in 2024. You can explore our past submissions here.

The 2026 RUN Learning and Teaching Award theme is:
Delivering Learning for a Changing World: Meeting Diverse Student Needs Through Equity, Innovation, And Regional Responsiveness.

The CSU Teaching Academy warmly invites applications from CSU staff for the 2026 RUN Learning and Teaching Awards.

Application Requirements:
- Three (3) minute video (to be attached to online application)
- A 100-to-200-word abstract that outlines the learning and teaching innovation, outcomes and impact
- Photo - a recent high-quality photograph of main applicant or team (to be attached)
Only one application per lead applicant will be accepted

Applications closed on Friday, 14 August 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

The three strongest applications will be selected as CSU’s official nominees for submission to RUN.
