Innovative Assessment 4: Designing Assessment for Constructive Alignment

This workshop explores foundational curriculum design principles with a focus on ways to design your subject through improving assessment by investigating constructive alignment. The workshop will discuss assessment tasks and how they are aligned to the intended learning outcomes and teaching and learning activities. We will also cover how this alignment can enhance the student learning experience. Rubric creation will also be covered. The workshop will be practical in nature and provide concrete examples to enhance your teaching practice.
