Innovative Assessment 1: Assessment for Excellence

Assessment: Best practice and future thinking

Assessment is a key element in all our teaching and learning and we are constantly looking for the best ways to provide students with opportunities to show us what they know, and to apply their learning in authentic ways. How is assessment defined and described in the literature and what does this mean for our practice here at Charles Sturt?

This interactive session will encourage you to explore the concepts and assumptions captured in assessment dialogue and help us build collective language around our assessment practices.

As the first session in the series, we will also outline how it will work and what is coming up.
