Maddy is the Technical Assistant (Veterinary Clinical Skills), supporting the technical team within the Veterinary Clinical Skills Laboratory and the small animal nursing team at the Veterinary Clinical Centre.

Maddy's passion for animals started at a young age growing up with a variety of small, large and exotic animals. Originally from Sydney, Maddy moved to Wagga in 2017 to complete studies with Charles Sturt University. She graduated  with a Bachelor of Animal Science (Honours 1) in 2020 and during her studies obtained a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (2018). She then spent 5 years in varying research positions at Charles Sturt and during this time Maddy worked along side students and academics providing high quality academic and practical support across multiple Veterinary and Animal science disciplines.
