Profile

Naomi graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/ Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons 1) in 2022 and was awarded the Equine Veterinarians Australia Prize for outstanding performance and commitment to equine medicine and surgery. Naomi began her career in mixed practice in NSW, followed by a residency in equine medicine at the Veterinary Clinical Centre, that commenced in 2024.

Naomi has a special interest in equine endocrinology, ophthalmology, and cardiology, and enjoys the variety of cases equine medicine brings. Naomi has published research on pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID) and the treatment of insulin dysregulation in horses, and has been recognised for her contributions to the profession through awards including the Equine Veterinarians Australia Ben Cunneen and Alister Rodgers award, the Interpath-4CYTE EVA Bain Fallon Scholarship, a Celebrate Being Australian award issued by the National Council of Women, and the Pat Keill OAM award issued by the Commonwealth Day Council.
