Dr Danieka Evans joined the Charles Sturt University Dental and Oral Health Clinic in June 2025 after completing her Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University. Before beginning her career in dentistry, Dr Danieka served for eight years in the Australian Defence Force as an electronics and communications technician, undertaking border patrol operations across Cairns, Darwin, and Christmas Island. After transitioning from Defence, she worked in the mining industry in Port Hedland, Western Australia. Her interest in oral health led her to begin a degree in Dental Technology at Griffith University in 2019, before being accepted into the Bachelor of Dental Science program at Charles Sturt University in 2020. Dr Danieka brings a high level of empathy, care, and understanding to her patients. She places strong value on patient education, aiming to empower individuals to take control of their oral health. She is acutely aware of the impact oral health can have on every aspect of a person’s quality of life and feels both excited and privileged to serve her community as a dentist. With her Defence Force background, Dr Danieka is particularly passionate about working with DVA patients—supporting them to achieve their oral health goals and assisting with DVA claims wherever possible. Clinically, she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong personal interest in oral surgery. Outside of the clinic, Dr Danieka enjoys staying active outdoors with her young family.Dentists4473517
