Complaints and appeals - International Students

Complaints and appeals for International students are handled separately within the university.

Get familiar with the requirements and expectations of Charles Sturt to make sure you don't find yourself on notice for something you didn't know was a problem.

The rights and responsibilities of International student are outlined in the Educational Services for Overseas Students Act (ESOS).

You can find out what those expectations are on the Department of Education website.

Detailed information and instructions on how to appeal a decision that affects you can be found under reviews and appeals.

All formal complaints against the university, a course or lecturer are handled by the University Ombudsman.

Access the formal complaint form and follow the steps to submit your complaint at the University Ombudsman's website. The site has more information on the Complaints Management policy for overseas students.
