Biography

Zannat (Mst Zannatul Ferdaus) has an academic background in computer science with growing research interests in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and their real-world applications. She completed her MSc in Computer Science and Engineering and BSc in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. She later pursued a Bachelor of Honours (Computing) at Charles Sturt University, Australia, where she received the Executive Dean’s Award for academic performance.

As part of her Honours studies, Zannat explored semantic data type detection using machine learning and deep learning techniques, which sparked her interest in applied AI research. Before transitioning to research, Zannat worked at Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of Bangladesh, for nearly 15 years, holding various technical roles including Systems Analyst and Programmer.

In March 2025, she joined AICF as a PhD student.
