Responsible AI

This research program propels the advancement of responsible AI in Australia as well as globally, underscoring inclusivity for all communities, notably those in regional and rural areas.

Our research program drives the responsible development of AI in Australia and beyond, emphasising inclusivity for all, especially in regional and rural areas. We extend our focus beyond AI to encompass related emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Metaverse, Quantum Computing, Extended Reality (VR/XR), and IoT. Understanding that these technologies share similar legal, regulatory, ethical, and governance considerations, our approach encompasses a broad spectrum.

With a core emphasis on regional futures and a global outlook, we leverage insights from Charles Sturt University and the AICF to address the specific considerations of deploying AI in regional, rural, and marginalised communities. By fostering global collaboration and cross-pollination of best practices, we aim to ensure responsible AI development aligns with regional futures worldwide.

Responsible AI Focus Areas
