Plan your degree (GPS system)

You can use the Graduation Planning System (GPS) to see all the requirements of your course. This includes:

  • subjects
  • placements
  • intensive schools.

You can also monitor your progress as you tick off those requirements.

If you've been awarded credit, you will also see that listed. You can then use the planning tool to map out a schedule to complete the rest of your course requirements.

You can plan out your course subject-by-subject, session-by-session and have that plan approved by your Course Director.

Options within your course

If your course has major and minor courses of study, specialisations or electives, then GPS will show all those possibilities. This will make it easier for you to plan out your course of study.

You can draft a plan of study for this year or your whole course and ask your Course Director to review it. This will make sure you're on track to finish all the requirements of your course and graduate.

If you are a Commonwealth assisted student, keep in mind that you can only use Commonwealth assistance for up to 2.0 EFTSL (i.e. two years or less) worth of study per year.

Limitations

  • The information in GPS is NOT an official record of your study. Find out more about ordering an official transcript.
  • Entering future subjects into GPS does NOT constitute enrolment. You will need to add/delete subjects via Online Administration as usual.
  • GPS will only recognise your records if you started your course from Session 1 2008.
