Marty Jeffrey is a proud Tubba-Gah Wiradjuri man from Dubbo with experience in Aboriginal policy, community engagement and program delivery across the NSW public sector. He currently leads the Aboriginal Outcomes team at the NSW Office of Sport, supporting initiatives that strengthen partnerships with Aboriginal communities and promote culturally informed approaches to sport, recreation and wellbeing.

Marty has worked across several NSW Government agencies in roles focused on Aboriginal outcomes, policy development and stakeholder engagement. His work involves collaborating with Aboriginal Land Councils, community organisations and government partners to help ensure programs and policies are shaped by community priorities and cultural knowledge.

Alongside his professional work, Marty serves as Chairperson of the Talbragar Wiradjuri Aboriginal Corporation, contributing to community governance and initiatives that support cultural connection and local Aboriginal outcomes. He is also actively involved in regional cricket in Dubbo, where he promotes opportunities for culture, identity and community pride to be expressed within local sporting environments.

Through his role on the Hub’s First Nations Engagement Group, Marty brings practical policy experience, strong community connections and a commitment to ensuring First Nations perspectives inform research, innovation and climate resilience initiatives.
