Student casuals
Students of the University employed as casual professional/general staff are paid step 1 of the rate provided in the Higher Education Industrial Award - General Staff - Award 2020 for the classification, plus 1%.
If you employ Charles Sturt University students as casual professional/general staff, please select a rate based on their assigned duties.
Scheduled increases:
These rates will be updated in line with the Higher Education Industrial Award - General Staff - Award 2020 increases as they occur.
They are not impacted by scheduled Enterprise Agreement increases.

In the event of any discrepancy between the rates on this website and the rates in the Enterprise Agreement, the rates in the Agreement will prevail.
