Self and Peer Assessment

The Self and Peer Assessment tool is designed to facilitate the objective, analytical, and learning comprehension skills of students.

Having students review the work of other students through criteria-based evaluation allows constructive feedback. This feedback can enhance their comprehension of the subject material and provide valuable insights into their own efforts.

Creating a New Self and Peer Assessment

The Self and Peer Assessment process begins by creating a new assessment. Tests are created in a content areas within your course.

The Assessment timeline

The Self and Peer Assessment timeline includes the following:

  • Create and deploy: Before any participant has submitted work, even after the submission start date.
  • Submit: After the submission start date and work has been submitted, and before the submission end date.
  • Complete: After the submission end date, but before the evaluation start date.
  • Evaluate: After the evaluation start date and before the evaluation end date.
  • Results: After the evaluation end date.
