Compliance Check - Submission Methods

Submission methods must be selected for each Assessment and Exam Item; or marked as ‘N/A - submission not required/applicable’. If submission methods of online (EASTS), post, hand delivery and/or alternative submission method are selected in any Assessment or Exam Item, the correlating submission method process under the section How to submit your assessment items becomes mandatory. That is, if the method is relevant to students, a process description must be provided. The Compliance Check will detect the submission methods selected in each Assessment/Exam Item and fail the Compliance Check if the correlating process section is null. Any submission methods that are not selected in any Item remain optional and will pass the Compliance Check if left null.

Note that i2 activities are not considered an ‘online submission method’ for compliance checking. However, they can be mentioned in the Online Submission Process section as desired. For example: “Assessment Items 1 and 3 must be submitted via the subject site Wiki. Refer to each task for detailed instructions.”

EXAMPLE Submission Method selections cause related submission method process sections to become mandatory
