Anne is a cross-disciplinary researcher with a background in extension, agroecology and social sciences. Anne has experience in cotton, cereals, livestock, biosecurity, and emergency management. Since 2013, Anne has been part of a research team at CSU examining agroecological solutions to pest management problems in agriculture and horticulture. Her PhD explored the motivations and behaviours in connection to the implementation of agroecology in viticulture. The insights provided by this work provide a guide to how understanding behaviour change can improve how we design and measure success in extension or adoption programs.
Anne’s current work is funded by the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund (FDF) Long-term Trials of Drought Resilient Farming Practices (LTT) Program (Round 2) and runs from 2025 – 2030. This action research project will explore and seek to improve social resilience in horticulture and viticulture.
