Training Hub promoting Regional Industry and Innovation in Virology and Epidemiology (THRIIVE)

THRIIVE, a $3.99 million research initiative aims to address the threat of zoonotic disease to Australian agriculture. These diseases can spread between animals and humans, causing economic and social impacts.

The project will develop innovative solutions to mitigate the effects of nine priority viruses, including Avian Influenza, Swine Flu and Hendra virus.
