Elections

On Monday 19 May 2025 the Office of Governance and Corporate Administration (OGCA) will commence the nominations process for vacant positions on Academic Senate and its Sub-Committees, including Faculty Boards.

Nomination results

Nominations opened Monday 13 May 2024 and closed 4pm on Friday 24 May 2024. At the close of nominations there were a number of nominations that exceeded the number of vacancies, as a result, elections will need to be held for a number of positions.

The term of office for all positions is from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2026.

About this position

Directly supporting students or the student experience role on Academic Senate. In accordance with the Governance (Academic Senate) Rule 2024, a member in this position is nominated by the Chair, Academic Senate.

The term of office for the professional / general staff member is for 2 years commencing 1 July 2025.

Should multiple forms be received for the one position available, interviews will be conducted with successful shortlisted candidates.
