Everyone at Charles Sturt University has a responsibly to assure their activities, this is the process of continuous improvement and quality enhancement of all that we do. In the Risk and Compliance Unit we establish some of the policies, procedures, tools and mechanisms that provide confirmation and confidence for the achievement of objectives: from University Strategy to front line operational plans of business units. Primarily, we do this through the Organisational Assurance Framework.
The Risk and Compliance Unit is responsible for the complementary assurance (or second line) function for enterprise risk and compliance. We provide advice, support, and monitoring for continuous improvement, in relation to risk management and compliance.
